Annie's Top 10 Short Story Collections Read

A selection of 10 volumes of short fiction story collections from my library.
I enjoy reading short stories. If you have a small amount of time to spare and wish to use it by reading, having short fiction and poetry to hand is ideal.
An additional advantage of short written works, whether they are fiction, prose or poetry is the potential to increase the amount of books that you read. Reading one short item a day over several days or weeks and you have soon finished another book.
Short written works have the additional benefit of trying a new author and deciding if you like their writing style.
Plenty of positive reasons to read short works if you do not already.
