Annie's . . . Post Eviction Library

As the title says we have been evicted (for no reason )- a very common occurrence here in the UK at the moment.
We have lost most of our belongings after having to walk out of the property with not much more than the clothes we were wearing.
The most galling thing was losing our books - about 5000 of them, and then seeing them for sale in a charity shop - it almost made me feel sick, not being able to afford to buy them back.
So, now we are restarting our library and these are the contents so far.
(Oh boy is it depressing going through book lists on LC at the moment seeing all the books we used to have).
Not all these books are read yet, but I am planning on doing a lot of reading to console myself and catch up on books TBR.
I have read Running on Empty which is the story of a man with Parkinson's who drove, mostly solo, across the length of Africa. It is rather poignant as my husband has Parkinson's.
Happy reading
