Here are all of the foods and drinks consumed by my husband and myself during February.
We have used up the last of the ready made pies and now all of our meals are homemade with a very small quantity of ready made shop brought items.
Still plenty of British comfort food along with soups, lighter meals and a generous quantity of homebaking. Lots of breads, savoury bakes, biscuits, cookies and cakes - much better than shop brought.
We have also tried out a few new food items and recipes. The carp was cooked simply with butter and herbs in order to taste the fish and the mango and ginger cheese will be purchased again. The coloured pastas are also new foods and the lentils are the dominant flavour over the beetroot and we will buy some more.
I shall certainly be making more meatballs and home made pastas with different fillings and flavours.
Time to peruse my cookbooks for more inspiration and recipes for this month.
