'An Alternative Look' is a list challenge series that attempts to offer a different selection of movies than most lists offer, that is, by ignoring the most well known titles completely. To do this, I looked at the Most Popular charts of Rate Your Music, and only included movies that appear outside of the top 250 most rated titles and selecting movies with average ratings of at least 3/5 to be included on this list.
That means that while you still may have seen these movies, they're also more likely to be movies that you skipped over. And there will be no movies like Pulp Fiction, Goodfellas, or The Shawshank Redemption included.
