Alliecat's Reading in March '23

I managed to read over 50 books this month! That said, many of them are very short. They were a mixed bunch - some excellent, some not very enjoyable. My pleasure in Where the Crawdads Sing, the last book of the month, was marred by my discovery via Jeffrey Goldberg's article in The Atlantic from July last year that the author is wanted for questioning in Zambia in connection with a murder. Naturally one is presumed innocent until proven guilty, however the article's further info about her character made her seem an extremely unpleasant person, so I was unable to enjoy the book. Still, it was otherwise a very good month. A very varied selection, so there should be something for everyone!
