All Nutmeg Intermediate Nominees - Page 8

The Nutmeg Book Award is a reader's choice award for the state of Connecticut meant to encourage children in school to read quality literature and then vote for their favorite title out of ten nominees every year. The award is sponsored by the Connecticut Library Association and Connecticut Association of School Librarians. The Intermediate category is aimed at children who are in grades four to six and this list contains all books nominated for this category. Some criteria for the books must be that they are a work of fiction, was copyrighted in the United States, was published no more than five years ago, is currently in print and available in paperback.
