Aliteraryprincess's Favorite Non-Picture Books From Childhood

These are 50 books that I loved starting at about age 5 and going through age 13. Note that this is favorite books FROM childhood, not FOR children. Some of these books are most definitely adult books even though I read them when I was 8 or 10 or 12. I loved them when I read them, I still love them now, and I'm glad I read them. However, looking back on it, my parents probably shouldn't have let me read some of these. But oh well. There are worse things that could happen than a young girl picking up a Stephen King novel!
