A Lit. Teacher's Favourite Classics, Modern Classics, and Contemporary Classics-To-Be - Page 2

Just what the title says - favourite being the operative word. These are not necessarily the"best", but they are the ones I'll pick up and read again simply because I want to. These books are almost exclusively fiction, drama, and poetry because that's what I taught; the few non-fiction titles are there because they qualify as literature. Finally, there are a lot of plays here because that's how I spent most of my adult life. Directing plays. I could have kept going, but I figured 200 was a long enough list.
