A Lifetime Reading Plan

This outstanding list of classic works is derived from "The New Lifetime Reading Plan: The Classic Guide to World Literature, Revised and Expanded." Also, I have posted (at the link) a companion challenge based on the "Going Further" section of this book; it features recommended works for 100 additional 20th-century authors.On this list Plato's works are in the reading order recommended in the source book, as an aid for those who, like me, are unsure of an appropriate pattern.
