A lot of Halloween movies this month--horror, sci-fi, thriller--many of them somewhat less than stellar but still fun to watch (mostly).
Recommendations: The Automat; Cape Fear (1962 version); Casque d'or; Kill the Irishman; The Last Black Man in San Francisco; The Miracle Worker; Mr. Smith Goes to Washington; Spellbound; Stray Dog; The World's End. Also Hard Candy, with the caveat/warning that it is tough viewing.
