i'm far from a moviebuff, i was such a bibliophile for so long that i didn't really realise movies also had value outside of "theme park"-like enjoyment for something like the first 21 years of my life. i'm trying to catch up now but the list stopped at 83 bc looking at my letterboxd that was how many i felt belonged in a list about stuff i really care about, i didn't want to add stuff where i was just kind of like "it was good", but i've surely missed stuff bc i feel that gnawing of something important forgotten in the back of mind. loosely ranked from strongest to weakest attachment.
