800+ Books to Read in a Lifetime TBR - Page 3

I believe this challenge makes a quality mid-size lifetime TBR. It consists of the better books I have already read and can recommend, along with some of the more "essential" books on my personal TBRs. I have added a few dozen extra works by contemporary authors to round out the challenge.
The challenge could be reduced in size somewhat by omitting categories you might not enjoy eg. modern foreign language fiction, children's works etc.
Message to other book list publishers only: PLEASE do NOT put spaces between initials in an author's name when creating a new icon.
