500+ Recommendations From 10 Years Reading: Traditional and Modern Classics and More - Page 2

IMHO, these works would make a decent mid-scale TBR. They are my favourite books from those I have read or reread over the past 10 years (mostly the last 4 years), and I would rate them as equivalent to between 3 and 5 stars on Goodreads. My early retirement has allowed me especially to catch-up on the fiction classics (working in medicine consumed so much time just keeping up with the scientific literature).
As yet I haven't worked up enough enthusiasm to tally up the books I would rate as just fair to mediocre to real 'stinkers'. Ordered by author. Picture books for young children not included.
