An incomplete list, to be sure, but I tried to think of the best film from each of 50 different languages (I made an exception for four different English-language countries, and two from French languages). Feel free to use this list to add to your own, and apologies up front if I've gotten the wrong language. I tried to pick films that had more than a passing use of the language.
