It's a genre that never gets old because no matter your age, we can all remember and relate to those messy feelings of figuring yourself out and figuring out how to love someone else — if only for a while — at the same time.
Teenage romance movies, like high school movies writ large, may have earned a bad reputation for being silly. And sometimes, they are (to which we say: so what?). At their core, though, the best teen movies represent the variety of experiences that come from discovering yourself (and others) at this age.
