25 Books to (Hopefully) Read in 2025

Here are my 25 essentials for the next year, spiced up with some re-readings (I recently watched a documentary on Truman Capote and In Cold Blood and absolutely want to read it again).

I'm really bad at planning my reading, because I always change my mind in the middle of the year and end up reading crime mysteries instead of the pile of classics and contemporary novels I prepared in January...
Hopefully, with only 25 books that I absolutely have to read (and varied genres in them, too) I will finally manage it.
