These movies have all made a lasting impact on me in some way, whether it be a deeper understanding of myself or the world around me; a newly found interest or respect for a person, genre or idea; inspiration to act or think differently; or simply awe for what can be achieved through the medium of film. I hope you shared a similar reaction to some of these, and perhaps see something new to add to your list. It is horror-heavy, as it is my favorite genre; however, I have a feeling everyone will find one new thing to watch and a beloved title or two (spoiler: childhood favorites!).
