150 More Fantasy and Science Fiction Books by Women (1972 to Present)

This is an arbitrary list of books by women that I think well of, without too many from any single author (though a few have multiple titles). There are, to the best of my ability, no authors on this list that are also on Sarah Waites' list, 100 Fantasy and Science Fiction Books by Women. That means no Downbelow Station by Cherry or Vorkosigan books by Bujold. I'd intended to put in 100, not 150, but there were too many that I did not want to exclude - and I *still* had to cut out dozens of authors, even with my 1972 cutoff.
Comments of authors excluded from both lists are very welcome. And if you would have preferred X title by an author over the one I chose, go ahead and say so, including, of course, Y!
Thank you for considering this hastily assembled compilation. And my apologies to authors I excluded out of either ignorance, speed, or poor taste.
