Many shows utilize the premise of a group of misfits trying to get through the day despite extraordinary happenings, but Doom Patrol is special for its brilliant performances and unique characters.
A major theme throughout Doom Patrol is the characters trying to face their issues and the main villain of the series. Doom Patrol is a great superpower show, but it is also a fantastic character show, and there are many other series that emulate its greatness.
