128 European Cities (Large and Small) Everyone Should Know About - Page 4

Though the question is "How Many Have You Visited?" do feel free to count the smaller places if you have heard of them (ie. Famagusta, Cyprus, which is actually in the Turkish Northern part of the island nation that's only recognized by Turkey, or Swansea, Wales, UK). I have NOT been to all these cities myself, and some of the ones I have traveled to were during my childhood in the 1970s. As always, enjoy! Will perhaps do a similar list for unique places here in the USA at some juncture. The image used with this entry is from Barcelona, Spain, a city I definitely want to visit soon!!!! Some of these cities are not in continental Europe but rather the UEFA zone (thus we have Israel, Azerbaijan, et al) and at the time of this writing in 2022 Russia had invaded Ukraine, so it's appropriate not to include cities from either country. My thoughts go out to the Ukrainian people.
