Comics & Graphic Novels 1100+ Entries!!! - Page 9

This list is for dedicated comic book readers. The list focuses on the past 20 years, but not solely. I usually list only one book from a series (sometimes the database only offered a volume 4 picture cover, for example, & I used only that cover to represent the series), but in cases where there were major author switches, I used one book cover per author (for example Daredevil by Miller, Bendis, Brubaker, Waid, etc.). So, a long series like Astro City will have only one cover to represent the entire series. Sometimes a series like Amazing Spider-Man is so long & has so many different authors, I may just have the series title represented only by one or two covers. This reflects my own tastes--I prefer Daredevil & Batman to Spider-Man b/c I am a noir fan. I also don't want superheroes to overload the list. Unfortunately, the database didn't have certain excellent books (like Lonesome Go by Tim Lane). I didn't add those. Some novels are in the list bc I couldn't find comic book versions.
