100 Must-Read Life-Changing Books

This is my 8th list based on a Bloomsbury Good Reading Guide, & the 4th written solely by Nick Rennison (I think he's the series general editor). A real eclectic group for sure. Novels, poetry & lots of non-fiction. From 6th century BC China to modern bestsellers. Some of these books I personally would never read (like Richard Dawkins whose vitriol towards Christianity I don't understand, & I'm Pagan!), while others would do nothing for me (I'm too cynical for most new age touchy-feely books). The only book among the few I actually have read is "The Secret Garden". Loved the book & the 1984 TV movie (the 1993 version is okay too). It's funny how "The Dice Man" philosophy was demonstrated on "The Big Bang Theory" TV series, though the book shows there is a dark side. Anyways, enjoy!
