Authors A-F From 100 Must-Read Classic Novels (Plus 150 Recommended Extras) - Page 2

This is the 1st episode of a 3-part mini-series based on 100 Must-Read Classic Novels (Nick Rennison, 2006). This episode includes 37 must-reads & 150 extra suggestions.
An author image is followed by one of the 'must-read' novels in Rennison's list of 100. After this there is a listing of several works in a similar vein by the same or different authors, as recommended by Rennison (so you can explore your favourite styles of writing or subject matter). Click on the author images if you have read ANY of their works.
This is an expanded version of the list published by fleurette but differs from my 'Books on a Theme From "100 Must-Read Classic Novels"'.
Note that some authors have 2 must-reads but I have not duplicated the author images. For reference purposes the must-read novels are:
Emma, Pride and Prejudice (9&14)
Nostromo, The Secret Agent (111&115)
Bleak House, Great Expectations (131&135)
Crime and Punishment, The Brothers Karamazov (153&157)
Adam Bede, Middlemarch (167&169)
