100 Most Banned and Challenged Books of the Last Decade

A list from the American Library Association of the 100 most banned & Challenged books from 2010-2019. For those who are unclear on exactly what banned and challenged actually means, let me explain. These 100 books have all been targeted for removal from school curricula, school and public libraries, and any other government funded educational programs. In some states, teachers and librarians can be threatened with arrest for even suggesting that students read them on their own. The majority of these books are children's or YA books, so the purpose is to prevent children and teens from thinking on their own. So, every one should go out and buy at least one of these and give it to their kids. Then TALK to them about it. Ignorance is NEVER the answer. Dialogue is.
