100 Books About the End of the World (And Beyond!)

Whether or not an apocalypse will ever occur is a matter of both debate and imagination. Even in the 19th century, writers had their own ideas on the topic. Now, at the dawn of the 21st century, media rakes in countless millions of dollars with stories about zombies, bombs, and technological breakdowns. But none of these things is new. Below you will find 100 Books About the End of the World (and Beyond!). I have read and recommend each one. I own at least one copy of every title and probably an additional hundred titles that didn't make it on to the list. I've probably omitted a few, either by error or ignorance, but this is a good place to start. How well read are you when it comes to the (fictional) apocalypse? You're about to find out...
