one of main reasons by India couldn't win Best International Feature Film Award at Oscar is selecting a wrong movie
Film Federation of India select official entry but many times it looks they select film based on lucky draw as most films selected by them literally had no chance to win, even sometimes they select don't listen a movie which as possible chance to get nominate but they chose some other film instead, RRR is recent example of it, The Lunchbox is another example.
this is list of 10 worst movies and worst means not compared to Oscar level movies, but overall worst these 10 movies were so much terrible yet they got selected, how? I don't know, we need Sherlock will find mystery behind it
ps: I am only adding movies I watched, not those I haven't seen yet like Gully Boy which according to many people wrong selection for submission
