This is a list of the 46 highest ranking films from 1946 on the new 2023 edition of the TSPDT Greatest Films list. "The Stranger" is the forty-first 1946 film on the list and #8930 overall. "The Stranger" is one of the subjects of the upcoming May 27, 2023 meeting of The Saturday Film Discussion Group. We will also discuss "Double Indemnity" from 1944. We are a monthly film discussion group that was formed in SW Ohio in 2018. It works like a book club. You watch the film on your own time. We then meet monthly to discuss the film. We switched our meetings to Zoom in 2020, and thus can now accept members from anywhere.
