High Fantasy Films

High fantasy is defined as fantasy set in an alternative, fictional ("secondary") world, rather than "the real", or "primary" world. The secondary world is usually internally consistent, but its rules differ from those of the primary world. While other fantasy genres, such as sword and sorcery, focus on singular characters, high fantasy takes time to build the world and its characters. There can be one protagonist, but their focus eventually is on a goal or ideals that extend to the fantasy world in which they inhabit.
