2023 - First Half of the Reading Year

It's summer here where I librarian at, although you wouldn't think it judging how the temperature hasn't gotten above 69 F since the beginning of 2023. Certainly makes it easy to stay in and read, at any rate. Once again, works are ranked from most liked to least.
P.S. You folks realize that the Phantom of the Opera book isn't the original Leroux work, right?
